For this Series, I chose to make a drawing inspired by four Hebrew stories. These stories, written in the Shtetl in eastern Europe in the nineteenth century and within the old walls of Jerusalem some 50 years ago, are infused with deep meaning, stories and traditions passed down for over two thousand years. Shalom Aleichem, Dvora Baron, Shai Agnon and Hemda Ben Yehuda, are the authors whose words guided my work.
